Too long no message! Let us see how many excuses I can find:

First of all, cycling season 2010 is finished and for me it is also finished for next year. I decided to stop with cycling competitions. It was great to race the last few years, but now I'm finishing my studies and I would like to start working next year. I don't want to combine a cycling career with a part time job. I'm not good enough to compete with the top of the cycling world and I want to take my chance in my first full time job.

I really enjoyed my time as a cyclist and I want to thank all other girls in the peleton for the great time and the tough races! Of course I will keep my bike and cycle for fun, but my bike has now to compete with my hiking shoes, a kayak and my hunger to traveling!

After making this decision I expected to have a lot of time, but that was not true! My thesis project began to accelerate and in no time I was busy making composite exhaust prototypes. I had to be swift because it was planned to go to Ferrari in September to test them. And today I'm already 4 weeks in Italy! Time flies..

The first prototype tests were positive and gives the project perspective. Another 2 weeks for more tests and then I will go back to Delft, finishing my thesis in December. Next plan is a trip to South India in January and February. In March I would like to start working and in the coming months I have to decide at which company!
