July the second was an exciting evening. The evening of the world soccer quarter finals, the evening before the start of the Tour de France and the evening of the presentation of Maarten Ducrots book: "Wie de trui past trekke hem aan"!

Now it is already the end of July! The bad world soccer final is already forgotten, the Tour de France will arrive in Parijs tomorrow and I just finished the book of Maarten. I started writing this text on 3th of July and then totally forgot to finish it and time is going so incredible fast.

But I would like to tell that I really liked Maarten's book! Unfortunately it is in Dutch only, so only attractive for the Dutch and the Flemisch speaking persons (who like cycling). He writes about the pain and winning, the unwritten rules in a peloton of cyclists and how the world of cycling changed during the last years. Maarten writes like he speaks, with a lot of humour! Some of his fans made a website with all his statements that he made during his time as a commentator. Great!
