Back in business! Yesterday we raced in Dwingeloo, a Dutch international race of 140km. During this race there is one thing what you need to keep in mind, go to the front and stay there! Well, you think, that's nothing news? But especially in this race it is harder to keep your place, you really have to fight for it!

My legs felt not that good the first hour and I was worrying about the rest of the race. But my legs were getting better and better. I enjoyed that feeling, although the frustration of the difficulty to get in the front was increasing and increasing. Around 100km a group of 11 cyclists got away including team mate Monique!

While Monique tried to survive in the front group of very strong riders, I was fighting for my place in the bunch where the national team of Australia tried to close the gap to the front group. Team Australia didn't manage to close the gap and Teutenberg (Team Columbia) won the sprint of the front group. Monique became 10th and I took the 24th place. I felt good again, not top shape, but I'm getting better :-) My next race will probably be Sunday, so little time to rest!
